
Natalia studied Technical Engineering in Civil Engineering, with a specialisation in Hydrology. She worked for four years as a Site Manager on various coastal projects in the Canary Islands, and as a consultant in a civil engineering office in Barcelona. Following the 2008 financial crisis, Natalia decided to redirect her career and specialised in the offshore renewable energy sector.
She completed a Master’s degree in Marine Renewable Energy at the Heriot-Watt University campus in Orkney, Scotland. After finishing her MSc, she joined the Aquatera team in 2013 and has since worked tirelessly on the development of the blue economy sector, both locally and internationally. Natalia currently serves as Project Lead at Aquatera Atlántico and is pursuing a degree in Social Sciences at the University of La Laguna.
